Deep tissues massage are great treatments that use slow, deeper pressure movements to release muscle and fascial tightness and restore proper function to the body. Deeper pressure movements often involve the use of elbows, knuckles and thumbs to penetrate the deeper layer muscles and fascia.

This type of therapy is hugely beneficial for clients who find themselves performing repetitive movements, sitting for long periods or people who play sports. Often during repetitive movements or for long periods of time when we are sitting, our bodies will tighten and constrict. Remedial Massage is ideal for treating specific problems such as frozen shoulder, tendonitis, reduced flexibility, and injuries.

Sessions are performed by one of our handpicked skilled therapists with a Remedial Massage Certificate and the knowledge to assess your needs correctly. Your therapist will take time on your first visit to do an assessment, check your range of motion and ask about your general activity.

Treatment involves postural assessment to isolate muscles that are not functioning correctly and to identify and correct muscular and postural imbalances. Techniques used include Myofascial Release (MFR), Trigger Point, Acupressure, Cross Fibre Mobilisation and Positional Releases and Stretches.
